Driver Irrigation Technician - Maintenance (47246)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair irrigation systems, including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and test irrigation systems.
• Operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Replace or repair irrigation hoses, pipes, and sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Assist in installing or repairing irrigation lines.
• Conduct detailed inspections of irrigation systems and record findings.
• Use hand and power tools for landscape and irrigation duties.
• Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper care of equipment and promote safety and environmental practices.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Proficiency with conventional and two-wire irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment and tools.
• Landscape lighting experience is a plus.
• Ability to read irrigation site maps and legends.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and sunlight.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certifications and licenses relevant to the role, maintained as required by local regulations.
