Job summary

Cox Fleet, part of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Delivery Driver to assist with bus deliveries and related driving duties. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and relevant experience, with a valid state driver’s license and DOT-regulated pre-employment screening.

You will work as part of a team, handle delivery paperwork, communicate with customers to ensure proper delivery, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ related field experience or an acceptable alternative to HS diploma/GED

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years’ experience in a related field. This position follows regulations issued by the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Candidate must be able to successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment Safe drivers needed and 3 YR MVR review required; Candidate must hold a valid state-of-residence driver’s license, be able to obtain and maintain their Driver Qualification File.

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
