Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Loader to join our team. The Loader will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials, always ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical strength, attention to detail, and effective communication skills while providing stellar customer service at every FBO and Client location.

Driver Responsibilities and Associated Duties

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Driver will be responsible for managing the timeliness of the final product that will be delivered to the appropriate location. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and utilize proper tools as required for the safe completion of tasks.
  • Safely climb up and down railcars, trailers, or other elevated platforms using the three-point contact technique.
  • Lift, care, push, or pull items weighing up to 80 pounds, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
  • Perform tasks that require stooping, bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, adapting to environmental factors as necessary to ensure productivity and safety.
  • Maintain written documentation as necessary, including completing checklists, arrivals and departures, and documenting incidents or safety concerns.
  • Communicate verbally with team members about the verification process, address safety concerns, and report incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure an efficient workplace and adherence to schedules.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for the safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous substances when applicable.
  • Participate in regular safety training sessions and adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Responsible for delivering catering orders and concierge items in a safe and timely manner in compliance with ONeill's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Drive safely under the laws and safety guidelines of the state(s) they operate in, maintaining courtesy and caution to avoid accidents.
  • Maintain the vehicle fleet, including cleaning, trash removal, weekly washing, and ensuring Telematics (route tracker) and FOB are operational. Fill the gas tank before returning to the kitchen on the final run.
  • Coordinate vehicle inspections, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other servicing, to ensure safety and operational standards.
  • Carry a cell phone with GPS capabilities, and be able to make and receive calls and texts to communicate with GM, Guest Services, or Chef as needed.
  • Dress professionally within company guidelines, including wearing the approved uniform.
  • Review weekly compliance and delivery performance with the GM to ensure standards are met.
  • Operate company vehicles safely, complying with all laws and regulations.
  • Additional duties may include picking up supplies and routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Understand and maintain quality control and food safety procedures during delivery.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements

High School diploma is required.

Ability to take orders, follow through, and work well with others in a fast-paced, team-driven environment is essential.

Previous face-to-face customer service experience in aviation, food services, or hospitality is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

Prior delivery driving experience is preferred. Candidates must have an excellent driving record, pass FAA security clearance, and undergo pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
