Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Driver's helper to assist the driver in daily activities, including loading and unloading the truck and other duties as needed. The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule in Florida and offers direct hire with full benefits.

Key responsibilities include loading daily routes, scanning routes, helping navigate to deliveries, and assisting with freight handling.

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Must possess good customer service skills.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Driver’s helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day to day activities. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need.

Essential Functions:

• Accurately load daily route on to the truck
• Scan daily route onto the truck
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries
• Assist driver with carrying freight into a business or residence destination
• Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
• Must possess good customer service skills

Pay Range:

$17.00 -$19.00 per hour

The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
