Thrift World in the Omaha Area is seeking a full-time driver helper to assist with loading and unloading donated items and supporting delivery operations. The role pays $18.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm, with benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).

The position emphasizes friendly donor interaction, safety in handling items, and teamwork. The job also involves warehouse help as needed to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Previous driver helper experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading donated items at various locations.
• Ensure all items are handled with care and transported safely.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our donors and partners.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow directions from the driver.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed.
