Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Louisville, KY is seeking a Driver Helper to assist the Driver in all aspects of product delivery to customers. You will ride with Drivers on intrastate and interstate routes, helping with loading, unloading, and placement of products while maintaining DOT compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers in foodservice preferred.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers, ensuring timeliness and proper handling according to DOT regulations.
• Load and unload trucks and company vehicles as needed.
• Place products in areas identified by customers and complete required documentation promptly.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally to answer questions accurately.
