Job summary

Core-Mark in Michigan is seeking a Driver Helper to ride with and assist Drivers in tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck routes for delivering and unloading products in a safe, timely manner. You’ll interact with customers and coworkers, following DOT regulations and company procedures.

The role supports a fast-paced distribution operation with a Monday–Friday schedule and 5am–7am dispatch.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 years of related experience.
• Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to learn/use computer programs on the job.
• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloading truck and/or company vehicles.
• Places products in areas identified by customers.
• Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
