Reports to: Collections Manager/Store Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented driver helper who maintains a passion for excellence, a strong work ethic, and appreciates a structured, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a focus on people with great customer service skills and a passion for serving and giving back to the community.

This is a full-time position on the first shift with a fixed schedule that includes weekend work. The job can be physically demanding and requires some heavy lifting, but it can also be very rewarding. This position is a good fit for returning military personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to all donors and customers.
  • Assist the driver in building, sustaining, and maintaining donation box and donation station sites for collections.
  • Help on two-man residential special routes, garage sales pick-ups, estate sale pick-ups, and fundraiser drive pick-ups.
  • Assist with collection box and trailer site placements and removals.
  • Help unload collections from trucks at the end of the routes.
  • Maintain clean and orderly donation sites and routes based on company operational protocols and standards.
  • Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
  • Be able to regularly work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and wet weather.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs frequently.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Degree, GED, or equivalent work experience.
