Job summary

Core-Mark International in Spokane, WA is seeking an energized Driver, Helper Non Formula to support our distribution operations. You will assist the Driver in delivering products to customers on intrastate and interstate routes, help unload, and maintain safety and timeliness in every stop.

The role offers day and night shifts, overtime opportunities, and a starting wage of $18 per hour. We value reliability, customer service, and safe driving practices as core to our food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 19 years old.
• Valid Class D driver license for at least 1 year.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads truck and/or company vehicles.
• Places products in areas identified by customers.
• Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Driver, Helper Non Formula, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of the product delivery to our customers.

The Driver, Helper Non Formula rides with and assist Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Required Qualifications

Compensation

$18 per hour
