UPS is seeking a Seasonal Driver Helper in Norman, OK. You will team up with a UPS driver to deliver packages to homes and businesses, working outdoors and interacting with customers along the way. Shifts vary, including mornings, weekends, and peak periods.

No driving of the brown truck is required, and this is a great entry point to gain industry experience. The position emphasizes physical work, outdoor conditions, and flexibility. You must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Capability to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Weather-appropriate outdoor attire and sturdy footwear required.
• Must be available for day-to-day scheduling, including weekends/holidays.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Ride Along with a Driver as a Seasonal Driver Helper

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

When assigned work, you'll meet your driver at a designated pick-up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules vary from day to day.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather-appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, based on business needs and your availability
• Saturdays and holiday work required – depending on business needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

The base pay for this position is $21.00/hour
