Job summary

Winebow is seeking a delivery driver to support deliveries to on- and off-premise accounts across New York. The role requires operating a 24-foot box truck, unloading and organizing product, and completing delivery paperwork with accuracy.

A clean driving record and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential. The position is union-backed with a $21.00 per hour wage, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and maneuver 4–7 cases with a hand truck.
• Experience operating a 24‑foot box truck (manual or automatic) and safe vehicle handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering wine and spirits to NY accounts and operate the delivery truck.
• Unload and store product as directed; record signatures and delivery times.
• Complete daily route and paperwork per account requirements; follow supervisor directions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists Drivers with delivering wine and spirits to on and off premise accounts throughout the five (5) boroughs of New York. Operate trucks for the delivery and pickup of Winebow products
• Unload product and place in designated areas, as instructed by personnel at the on and off premise accounts.
• Pick up product, as instructed by Winebow management, at designated on and off premise accounts.
• Assist with completing paperwork, to include obtaining legible signature and printed name from personnel at accounts when product is delivered and record date, arrival and departure time at each account.
• Follow directions/instructions provided by the Driver.
• Completing the daily route in full before returning to the Warehouse each night.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Some experience driving a 24-foot box truck, either with manual and/or automatic transmission and air breaks.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more and move between 4-7 cases using a hand truck.
• Experience using a hand truck.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Prolonged sitting, ability to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold, constant travel by automobile.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.

The rate for this position is $21.00 per hour and is part of a Union.
