Job summary

Food Authority, INC. is seeking a Driver Helper to support our delivery team by assisting with loading, unloading, and delivering products to customer locations. You will help maintain product integrity and create a positive customer experience.

The role requires lifting 25–80 lbs regularly, at least 1 year of driver helper experience, and the ability to work nights as part of a five-night schedule within our six-night operation. A reliable transportation method is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of driver helper experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading, unloading, and delivering products.
• Verify product counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with customers and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Report incidents promptly and follow all safety protocols.

Role Overview

As a Driver Helper, you’ll be an essential part of our delivery team, ensuring safe and timely transportation of food products to customer locations. You’ll assist the driver, maintain product integrity, and help create a positive customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Assist drivers with loading, unloading, and delivering products

Delivery Schedule: Deliveries operations run 6 nights a week, your schedule will include five-night within that schedule.
