Reports to: Collections Manager/Store Manager

Job Overview:

Looking for a motivated, results-oriented driver helper who maintains a passion for excellence, a strong work ethic, and appreciates a structured, fast-paced environment. One must possess a focus on people with great customer service skills, and a passion and pride about serving and giving back to one’s community.

This is a full-time position, first shift, with a fixed schedule that includes weekend work. The job can be physically demanding and requires some heavy lifting, but it can also be rewarding. It is a good opportunity for returning military personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to all donors and customers.
• Help the driver build, sustain, and maintain donation box and donation station sites for collections.
• Assist on two-man residential special routes, garage sale pick-ups, estate sale pick-ups, and fundraiser drive pick-ups.
• Assist with collection box and trailer site placements and removals.
• Help unload collections from trucks at the end of the routes.
• Maintain clean and orderly donation sites and routes based on company operational protocols and standards.
• Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Regularly work in heat, cold, and wet weather conditions.
• Be prepared for physically demanding work and heavy lifting.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs, in and out of a truck frequently.

Education and Experience:

• High School Degree, GED, or equivalent work experience.
