Performance Food Group is seeking a Driver Helper to support the Driver in delivering and unloading products while maintaining professionalism with customers. You will assist in intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with DOT regulations.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months in a warehouse with customer interfacing in foodservice, and passing post-offer drug tests and background checks. Training provided for safety and efficiency.

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Driver Helper, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of the product delivery to our customers.
The Driver Helper rides with and assist Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co‑workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
