Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Medley, FL is seeking a Driver Helper to support the driver with loading, unloading, and daily routing tasks. This is a direct hire with full benefits and annual bonus, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

You will load and scan routes, assist with deliveries, and help carry freight to business or residence locations, while demonstrating good customer service and map-reading skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Must possess good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries.

We are seeking a driver helper in Medley, FL!

JOB SUMMARY:

The Driver's helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day to day activities. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need.

Essential Functions:

• Accurately load daily route on to the truck
• Scan daily route onto the truck
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries
• Assist driver with carrying freight into a business or residence destination
• Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
• Must possess good customer service skills

Pay Range: $18-19.00 per hour

The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
