Zusammenfassung

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Driver Helper to assist the driver with day-to-day delivery and operations, including loading and unloading, handling and verifying freight, supporting route execution, and completing other duties needed to provide safe and efficient service. The shift is Monday–Friday (1st shift).

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour and benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k + Company Match, EAP, PTO, and Flexible Work

Qualifikationen

• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when trained and authorized.
• Follow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with TSA, OSHA, company safety requirements, and customer-site rules.
• Provide professional customer service and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Driver Helper is responsible for assisting the driver with day-to-day delivery and operational activities. This includes loading and unloading the truck, handling and verifying freight, supporting route execution, and completing other duties needed to provide safe and efficient service.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees must be able to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and safely operate material-handling equipment as required.

Safety Expectations

Employees are expected to comply with all company safety policies, applicable DOT requirements, OSHA standards, TSA requirements where applicable, and customer-site safety rules. Employees must immediately report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment damage, cargo damage, and regulatory concerns.

Pay Range:

• $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
• The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
