Maersk is seeking a Driver's helper in Coppell, TX to assist the driver with loading and unloading, route management, and delivering freight to customer sites. The role supports safe handling and accurate route execution in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The position requires a High School or better education, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and good customer service skills. Working hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid where applicable.

Competenze

• Ability to read a map and geographic knowledge of the area is needed.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.

Job Summary

The Driver's helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day to day activities. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need.

Essential Functions

• Accurately load daily route on to the truck
• Scan daily route onto the truck
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries
• Assist driver with carrying freight into a business or residence destination
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Competencies

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
• Must possess good customer service skills

Education

• High School or better

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Position requires regular use of a phone and a PC and reading and writing of various shipping documents.

Pay Range

$17.00 to18.00 per hour

• The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
