Job summary

External SA Recycling in Pensacola, FL seeks a dependable yard operator to load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal, inspect grades for inventory, and support daily DOT operations with safety checks.

You will communicate with office staff and customers to coordinate loads, work independently when driving scrap metal, assist customers to meet their needs, and help keep the yard safe through routine maintenance and housekeeping at shift end.

Qualifications

• Must pass medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass background check.
• Ability to communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as job demands.
• Preferred high school diploma/GED.
• Experience operating wheel loader is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
