Job summary

MTM Transit, in partnership with Job and Family Services, seeks Non-CDL Drivers for Cincinnati, OH. Training classes start every other week. The role offers an hourly rate of $17.50 with paid training, overtime, and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Class D driver’s license or ability to obtain within 3 months of start.
• Minimum of 2 years driving history.
• No DUI or DWI convictions.
• No more than 6 points on driving record.
• Must pass criminal background check and MVR check.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Resume with a minimum of 10 years work history.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Assist with mobility device and securement for safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off of customers.
• Demonstrates understanding of needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVIs as required.
• Complete paperwork as required; use tablets or electronic devices.

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must possess a valid Ohio Class D driver’s license or ability to obtain within 3 months of start

• Must have a minimum of 2 years driving history

• No DUI or DWI convictions

• No more than 6 points on driving record

• Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record check

• Valid authorization to work in the United States

• Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

• Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructions

• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, andschedules

• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea

What You’ll Do:

• Provide safe and reliabletransportation

• Demonstrateexcellentdefensivedrivingskills

• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and externalstakeholders

• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading fromvehicle

• Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safetyprotocols

• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of thecustomer
