Job summary

The Village at Rockville, a National Lutheran Community, is seeking a dedicated Driver to transport residents to appointments and activities. This full-time daytime role requires a caring, dependable approach to keep residents safe and engaged.

You'll maintain vehicles, log trips, and assist residents in and out of vehicles. We offer generous benefits including PTO, retirement plan, insurance options, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
• Friendly, patient, and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to assist residents in and out of vehicles as needed.
• Interpersonal skills are important.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance helpful.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, activities, and outings; no unscheduled stops.
• Keep vehicles maintained and stocked with supplies.
• Ensure routine maintenance is documented.
• Maintain clean vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Record mileage and trip logs.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for transporting residents safely and professionally to all scheduled destinations, appointments, and shopping trips; no unscheduled stops
• Keeps vehicles and equipment maintained and stocked with necessary supplies
• Ensures vehicles receive documented routine maintenance
• Maintains vehicles in clean condition inside and out, including regular washing, vacuuming, and window cleaning
• Maintains accurate vehicle mileage and trip logs
• Performs other duties as required
