The Village at Rockville, part of National Lutheran Communities & Services, is seeking a dependable Driver for day shifts in a full-time role. You will transport residents safely to appointments, activities, and outings, ensuring comfort and safety on every trip.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Friendly, patient, and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to assist residents in and out of vehicles.
• Interpersonal skills are essential; familiarity with vehicle maintenance is a plus.
• Commercial Passenger Bus License A+ is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely and professionally to all scheduled destinations, appointments, and shopping trips; no unscheduled stops.
• Keep vehicles maintained and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Ensure routine vehicle maintenance is documented.
• Maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors clean (wash, vacuum, etc.).
• Maintain accurate mileage and trip logs.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for transporting residents safely and professionally to all scheduled destinations, appointments, and shopping trips; no unscheduled stops
• Keeps vehicles and equipment maintained and stocked with necessary supplies
• Ensures vehicles receive documented routine maintenance
• Maintains vehicles in clean condition inside and out, including regular washing, vacuuming, and window cleaning
• Maintains accurate vehicle mileage and trip logs
• Performs other duties as required
