Job summary

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is seeking a Driver for our vibrant senior living community. Join us for a role that helps create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families and guests.

As a full-time, on-site driver, you will greet people, park and retrieve vehicles, assist with mobility, and coordinate with Safety, Transportation and Concierge teams to ensure smooth operations and responsive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid SC driver's license in good standing.
• Minimum 21 years old (insurance requirement).
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Calm, courteous demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families and guests with professionalism.
• Safely park, retrieve vehicles and manage traffic flow.
• Assist with mobility needs and deliveries for residents.
• Collaborate with Safety, Transportation and Concierge teams.
• Report incidents to supervisors and support emergencies.

What You’ll Do:

As a Valet Attendant, you’ll be the first friendly face our residents and guests see. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth arrivals and departures, maintaining safety, and delivering top-notch service every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting residents, families, and guests with professionalism and warmth
• Safely operating, parking, and retrieving vehicles (automatic & manual)
• Assisting with mobility needs, including walkers, wheelchairs, and packages
• Managing traffic flow and maintaining safety in valet and drop-off areas
• Delivering packages and assisting with resident needs promptly
• Collaborating with Community Safety, Transportation, and Concierge teams
• Reporting incidents or concerns to supervisors and supporting emergency responses

What You Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid South Carolina driver’s license in good standing
• At least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
