Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Full Service Driver to deliver products and fill vending machines across established accounts. The role includes cash handling, equipment troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of delivery experience, and a CDL with a clean driving record. Local driving in Illinois and Missouri is involved, with pay at $25.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The Full Service Driver is responsible for delivering product and filling vending machines at all points of availability within established accounts.

Job Responsibilities

• Delivers product and fills vending equipment. Restocks machine to proper level, maintaining accuracy in stock levels.
• Collects and is accountable for money. Settles all accounts daily.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment to keep in proper operating condition; requests service as needed.
• Maintains machine cleanliness and all appropriate signage.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record within MVR guidelines. Class E Driver’s license required (Missouri drivers/locations only). Illinois residents are required to have a CDL issued from the state of Illinois. CDL license needs to cover both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to count and secure cash required.
• Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
• Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Physical Requirements

• Speaking: Constantly with customers (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
• Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
• Typing: Frequently using electronic devices for day-to-day business (order confirmation, instant messaging, texting)
• Mobility: Frequent travel throughout customer locations (Walking in backrooms, aisles, greeting customers)
• Bending/Squatting: Frequently (lifting and placing product from the truck to the ground or from pallets to shelf)
• Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
• Pushing/pulling: Frequent use of manual carts
• Climbing: Frequent entering and exiting the cab of a truck
• Driving: Constant travel between customer locations

Pay: $25.00 an hour
