Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Quincy, IL is seeking a Full Service Driver to deliver products and refill vending machines at assigned accounts. You will maintain stock levels, handle cash, and ensure equipment is running and compliant.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of delivery experience, and a CDL with a clean MVR. Local travel and operation of pallet jacks are needed.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Full Service Driver is responsible for delivering product and filling vending machines at all points of availability within established accounts.

Job Responsibilities

• Delivers product and fills vending equipment. Restocks machine to proper level, maintaining accuracy in stock levels.
• Collects and is accountable for money. Settles all accounts daily.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment to keep in proper operating condition; requests service as needed.
• Maintains machine cleanliness and all appropriate signage.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Class A/B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record within MVR guidelines. Class E Driver's license required (Missouri drivers/locations only). Illinois residents are required to have a CDLissued from the state of Illinois.CDL license needs to cover both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to count and secure cash required.
• Prior experience using powered pallet jackpreferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
• Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Physical Requirements

• Speaking: Constantly with customers (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
• Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
• Typing: Frequently using electronic devices for day-to-day business (order confirmation, instant messaging, texting)
• Mobility: Frequent travel throughout customer locations (Walking in backrooms, aisles, greeting customers)
• Bending/Squatting: Frequently (lifting and placing product from the truck to the ground or from pallets to shelf)
• Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
• Pushing/pulling: Frequent use of manual carts
• Climbing: Frequent entering and exiting the cab of a truck
• Driving: Constant travel between customer locations

Pay:$25.00 an hour
