Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Driver non-CDL to deliver pre-ordered products to assigned accounts on designated routes. You will merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards and collect returns from customer locations.

Responsibilities include using computer systems to create invoices, collect payments, settle accounts daily, and provide excellent customer service. DOT regulations compliance is required, with local delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Driver’s license required by state: Missouri: Class E; Illinois: Class C; Kansas/Iowa: Class C.
• Clean driving record within MVR guidelines.
• Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred and ability to obtain PIT certification upon hire.

Physical Requirements

• Speaking: Constantly with customers (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
• Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
• Typing: Frequently using electronic devices for day-to-day business (order confirmation, instant messaging, texting)
• Mobility: Frequent travel throughout customer locations (walking in backrooms, aisles, greeting customers)
• Bending/Squatting: Frequently (lifting and placing product from the truck to the ground or from pallets to shelf)
• Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
• Pushing/pulling: Frequent use of manual carts
• Climbing: Frequent entering and exiting the cab of a truckDriving: Constant travel between customer locations (must be able to drive delivery vehicles)
• Ability to work in environments where temperatures vary with the seasons

Pay

$23.30 an hour
