Job summary

Peco Foods, Inc. is seeking a professional CDL driver to support delivery operations across our routes. You will maintain accurate truck logs, communicate with supervision, and ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.

You will inspect and service the truck, keep a professional image, and assist management with scheduling to optimize production and delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Maintains truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintains radio/telephone contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Keeps compartments clean after unloading to avoid contamination.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water).
• Performs routine maintenance, including pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Assist location and feed mill management with operational duties to ensure efficient production/delivery schedules.
• Promotes a positive image of Peco Foods, Inc. by keeping interiors and exteriors clean.
• Maintains a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements and a current DOT physical.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
• Support management with efficient delivery scheduling.

Job description

• Cleans compartment after unloading as necessary to avoid contamination.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Performs routine maintenance on vehicle, including but not limited to, daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Assist location and Feed mill management with operational duties, as time allows, ensuring an efficient production/delivery schedule.
• Ensure trucks promote a positive image of Peco Foods, Inc. by keeping the interiors and exteriors clean as conditions allow.
• Maintain a valid Class A CDL Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsements and commercial insurability at all times. Valid DOT physical is also required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
