Job summary

Wastebuilt is seeking a Driver for our Jurupa Valley, CA location. The driver will deliver incoming shipments, organize merchandise, package for shipping, and maintain records and the company vehicle for parts transport. Responsibilities include warehouse support, order picking, and keeping areas clean.

Hourly rate is $23.50. Important qualifications include 3 years of warehouse/shipping experience, a valid driver license, and forklift familiarity.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, material handling is ideal.
• “Production/mechanical experience or aptitude is ideal.”
• “Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record”
• “Forklift experience a plus”
• “Computer literate, with data entry and part look-up skills”
• “Strong analytical, problem solving and corrective action skills.”

Responsibilities

• Assist in many areas of the warehouse including production of hose and fittings, picking orders.
• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Support sales by processing parts orders for shipment.
• Maintain work truck, warehouse and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Able to lift, stoop and bend repeatedly over a shift; occasional 50 lbs lifting.

• Shipping and receiving experience/Put parts away
• Able to lift, stoop and bend without restriction repeatedly over the course of a shift
• Occasional lifting of 50 lbs.
• Consistent walking and climbing
• Maintain work truck, warehouse and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Formal Education & Certification

• High School Diploma
• Forklift Certification (a plus but not required)
