Job Description:

Driver/Dockworker

This position involves the timely pickup, labeling, loading, and delivery of shipments, using the required equipment, policies, and procedures. It may include driving a tractor-trailer to multiple customer locations and returning to the original domicile during the same shift.

MUST MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS AT THE TIME OF APPLYING
  • Workdays, nights, and/or weekends
  • Class A CDL with tractor/trailer experience
  • Ability to drive automatic & manual transmissions
  • HazMat endorsement
  • Pass a UPS road test, a DOT physical including a drug screen, and all necessary background checks
  • Utilize various Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including pallet movers and stand-up forklifts, to load/unload palletized freight
  • Lift up to 70 lbs
  • Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages, possibly utilizing heavy machinery. Technology will be leveraged to aid in delivery services.
