BASIC FUNCTION:

Driver/Dock Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods between facilities and suppliers. Responsible for transporting goods and materials between Harrinton facilities and various destinations.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transport goods and materials between Harrington facilities and to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Perform routine maintenance on the company vehicle and maintain an organized and clean interior.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper securing and handling of items to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption and delivery time.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, reporting any delays, issues, or incidents promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic patterns and routes.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
• Previous experience as a driver or delivery driver is a plus.
• Must be able to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds and frequently lift up 50 pounds. Move packages, as needed.
• Ability to stand 5+ hours a day.
• Ability to walk 5+ hours a day.
• Ability to sit 3+ hours a day.

• Conduct all interaction with customers, representatives, co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous, and respectful manner.
