Job summary

MTM Transit, in partnership with RTD (Regional Transportation District), is seeking Full Time, Non-CDL Drivers to join our Denver, CO team. Location: 280 W. 62nd Avenue, Denver, CO 80216.

We offer affordable benefits, paid training, overtime, holidays, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 21+, valid Colorado license or ability to obtain, 2 years driving history, no major disqualifiers in past 5 years, background check, DOT physical, and ability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 3 months of start.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years driving history.
• No reckless driving in the past 5 years.
• No DUI or DWI convictions.
• Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record check.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Must assist with mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop off of the customer.
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.

What will your job look like?

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea

What You’ll Do:

• Provide safe and reliabletransportation
