Job summary

DuBois is seeking a CDL B delivery driver to handle hazmat and non-hazmat product deliveries, primarily to bulk tanks at customer sites. You will operate a 26ft box truck with a lift gate and wear PPE for hazmat handling.

Responsibilities include warehouse tasks such as forklift operation, inventory control, and loading/unloading at the dock. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• CDL B with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record; skilled at maneuvering and operating 26ft box trucks.
• 2–5 years of driving experience.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and perform warehouse duties.
• Strong customer service skills.

POSITION SUMMARY:

CDL class B delivery driver for delivery of HAZMAT & NON HAZMAT Products. Most products are pumped into our customers bulk tanks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This individual will report directly to the Transportation Manager

• This position will require a qualified individual to operate the following equipment: 26ft box truck with a lift gate

• The Box truck will be used to transport IBCs (250g and 330g totes) to the customer's location, where the Driver carry a hose to the customers storage tank and it will then be pumped off, via diaphragm pump

• These deliveries are 100% hazmat, either 50% sodium hydroxide or a sodium hydroxide blend

• The box truck is used to deliver both hazmat and non-hazmat materials

• The box truck with lift gate is used to make both hazmat and non-hazmat deliveries

• PPE must be worn at all times when handling hazmat material

• This is not solely a driving position as there will be warehouse duties as well, including forklift operation, inventory management, truck loading and unloading, and other additional duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have CDL B with hazmat and tanker endorsements to be considered

• Individuals must have a clean driving record and be very skilled at maneuvering and operating all the pieces of equipment listed above

• 2-5 years of driving experience

• This individual must be able to hit the ground running and be a great self-starter

• Must have great customer service skills

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job

• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

• Starting Time: 4:30 - 5:00AM

• 7 - 10 Stops a day
