Job Description

ABC Supply is the nation's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers at ABC assist in the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to each job site. They unload orders using various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts, and may specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries, which require working on rooftops.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Loading products onto rooftops
• Manoeuvring delivery vehicles
• Delivering products in non-CDL required vehicles
• Providing excellent customer service
• Checking loads for accuracy and securing them for delivery
• Supporting warehouse operations as needed
• Assisting with delivery and staging of materials at jobsites
• Performing all duties safely

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the shift
• Forklift experience preferred
• Willingness to work on rooftops
• Positive attitude and team spirit
• Adherence to safety policies, including wearing safety harnesses and equipment
