Job Description

ABC Supply is the nation's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers at ABC assist in the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to each job site. They unload orders according to customer specifications using various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Delivery Material Handlers may specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries, which require working on rooftops to complete deliveries.

Specific Duties May Include

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Assisting with loading products onto rooftops
• Handling maneuvering of delivery vehicles
• Delivering products in non-CDL required vehicles
• Providing excellent customer service
• Checking loads for accuracy and securing them for delivery
• Supporting warehouse operations as needed
• Delivering materials to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging at sites
• Performing all duties safely

Specific Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the shift
• Forklift experience preferred
• Willingness to work on rooftops
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Adherence to safety policies, including wearing safety harnesses and equipment
