Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. is seeking a Driver Lead in Amarillo, TX to deliver products on a fixed route, ensure quality service, and merchandise effectively. You will train new hires for Driving and Merchandising roles and assist with re-training as needed.

Typical schedule is Mon-Fri starting early morning, with overtime and weekend flexibility. You will support branch operations, rotate stock to prevent spoilage, and maintain safety while driving and delivering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred
• 2 years of delivery experience and face to face customer interaction
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• 21 years of age or older
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
• Valid Class A CDL

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to scheduled accounts in good condition and within scheduled delivery time
• Rotate brands and packages to prevent past-dated products reaching consumers
• Be accountable for cash/credit proceeds and products removed from inventories
• Compute and record transactions and convey cash, checks, and documents to Route Auditor at shift end
• Provide shelf merchandising to stores upon request by manager or customer
• Maintain assigned vehicle in accordance with safety regulations
• Deliver products for various routes when vacations or days off occur
• Support Distribution Supervisor duties including Kronos and reporting functions
• Share in opening, closing, and weekend on-call duties of the Branch

Driver Lead The Driver Lead is responsible for delivering product to small and large format accounts on a predetermined route for advance sales, maintaining strong customer rapport, quality service, and effective merchandising of products. The Driver Lead will also be responsible for training all new hires for all Driving and Merchandising positions or general re‑training when necessary.

Shift and Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 4:30am until route is finished
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Local routes

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to scheduled accounts in good condition and within scheduled delivery time.
• Assure brands and packages are rotated properly safeguarding against past-dated products available to consumers.
• Accountable for cash/credit proceeds and products removed from inventories.
• Compute and record transactions and convey all related cash, checks and documents to Route Auditor at conclusion of work shift.
• Provide shelf merchandising to stores upon request by manager or customer.
• Maintain assigned vehicle in accordance to applicable safety regulations.
• Deliver product for UDS, Bulk, Night Transport or Merchandising routes when vacations or days off need to be taken by the normal driver or merchandiser.
• Act as a support/fill in for the Distribution Supervisor duties that may include: Kronos, JJ Keller, and any/all other reporting functions of the DS role.
• The Driver Lead will also share in the opening, closing, and weekend “on call” duties of the Branch.

Total Rewards

• Pay starting at $31.52 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $33.21 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
