A community support organization in St. Louis seeks a compassionate Driver/Custodian to safely transport individuals with developmental disabilities and perform custodial duties. Qualifications

• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility challenges.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.

• Reliable, patient, and professional with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals to and from programs using agency vehicles.
• Maintain a consistent transportation schedule for timely pickups.
• Assist clients on and off the vehicle as needed.
• Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance.
• Report safety concerns, vehicle issues, or changes in clients’ behavior to supervision.
• Comply with local and state driving regulations and agency policies.

Are you looking for a meaningful job where you can make a difference every day? We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Driver/Custodian to join our team in supporting adults with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals to and from day programs and work sites using agency vehicles.
• Maintain a consistent transportation schedule and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Assist clients on and off the vehicle as needed, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.
• Perform general custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance of facilities and vehicles.
• Report any safety concerns, vehicle issues, or changes in clients’ behavior to supervisory staff.
• Comply with all local and state driving regulations and agency policies.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday:
• Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Weekends Off

Requirements

• Valid Class E driver’s license
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening
