Position Details

The Driver & Crew Member reports to the Crew Foreman and will undertake physically demanding tasks, including vehicle operation, site maintenance, and landscaping activities. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. The role demands physical strength, coordination, endurance, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trucks before and after trips and submit reports.
• Operate company vehicles safely and report mechanical issues immediately.
• Follow all safety and company policies.
• Perform site work such as trenching, weed clearing, debris removal, landscaping, irrigation, and vegetation management.
• Use hand tools and equipment, including trimmers, chainsaws, and sprayers.
• Wear personal protective equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Report issues and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Experience in landscaping or construction preferred; operating power equipment a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.

Physical Requirements

• Operate a vehicle safely; lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds.
• Work in various weather conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, and noise.
• Stand and walk for up to eight hours daily, including on uneven surfaces.

Type: Full-time | Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday | Pay: $19.00 - $21.00/hr DOE | Equal Opportunity Employer
