Job summary

MTM is hiring Drivers in Coconino County to join a growing team. Training classes start weekly, with an hourly rate of $16.00–$19.85 depending on mode and location. You will provide safe non-emergency transportation and support riders, including loading/unloading and mobility device assistance.

Paid training is onsite in Phoenix, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision. Take-home a company vehicle with working A/C; 401(k) with match; paid holidays/PT0 and growth opportunities within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Valid Arizona Driver's license.
• Minimum of 5 years driving history.
• No pending charges.
• No felony convictions in past 7 years.
• No DUI or DWI convictions.
• Pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record.
• Pass a DOT physical if over 65 including pre-employment drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading/unloading from vehicle.
• Assist with mobility device and securement for safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off of the customer.
• Show sensitivity to needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Must be 25 years of age or older

• Valid Arizona Driver's license

• Minimum of 5 years driving history

• No pending charges

• No convicted felony charges in past 7 years

• No DUI or DWI convictions

• Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation

• Must pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre-employment drug screening

• Valid Authorization to work in the United States

Skills:

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronicdevice

• Ability to maintain a high level ofconfidentiality

• Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructions

• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, andschedules

• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOTregulations

• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea
