Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Driver with a Class E license for its Warehouse/Distribution Center. The role offers $19/hour and involves driving when on the road, and assisting with shipments in the warehouse when not driving.

Required qualifications include a Class E license, ability to drive a manual transmission, DOT physical, age 18+, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record; ability to lift 75 pounds and work five days incl. Saturdays is expected.

Qualifications

Plaza Tire Service handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through Searcy, AR. When not on the road, this position includes working within the warehouse to help prepare shipments. We have an opening for a Driver with a Class E license for our Warehouse/Distribution Center.

COMPENSATION: $19/ hour

Qualifications:

Plaza Tire Service is willing to train the right person. The most successful candidates possess the following qualifications, which are expected of applicants.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Driver will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

The Driver must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
