Position Overview

As a Class C Driver, you will operate stingers and/or 26' box trucks to multiple routes and locations, load and unload freight and containers as required, and perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment. Responsibilities also include cleaning out containers and picking up trash at various sites. General labor duties may be assigned.

Position Details

Annual Opportunity: $41,730 - $44,850 based on hourly wages.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles.
• Load and unload freight/containers as required.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Pick up trash from different customer sites.
• Perform general labor tasks.
• Work physically with energy and endurance.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays, arrivals, or equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete required documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as a delivery driver with a 26ft box truck, bobtail, flatbed, step van, or straight truck.
• Ability to perform physical labor such as climbing, heavy lifting (over 50 lbs), kneeling, bending, and pushing/pulling.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and DMV printout.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
