Safety-Kleen in Manati, PR is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role involves training to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a defined route. Safety-Kleen will cover the cost for you to obtain your CDL.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety by following all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups promptly.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete all required documentation and labeling.
• Generate and collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products/services into existing accounts.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles safely according to U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Obtain a CDL B within 180 days (company-paid).
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days of CDL B.
• Work independently, managing time and productivity effectively.
• Maintain basic computer and math skills, good communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Perform physical functions as required.
• Complete background check, drug test, and physical exam as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with commercial route driving (Class C or non-CDL).
