Safety-Kleen in Longview, TX is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role involves training to operate a Class B box truck, providing onsite service for parts washer machines, picking up containerized hazardous waste, and selling products/services along a defined route. Safety-Kleen will cover the cost of obtaining your CDL.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring health and safety compliance by following all procedures and policies.
• Completing daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups promptly.
• Switching out 15- and 30-gallon drums at customer sites.
• Completing all required documentation and labeling.
• Generating and collecting leads for new products and services.
• Selling additional products/services to existing clients.
• Adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operating vehicles safely according to DOT and other requirements.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Obtaining a CDL B within 180 days (company paid).
• Securing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days of CDL B.
• Working independently, managing time effectively.
• Possessing basic computer and math skills, along with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Completing a background check, drug test, and physical.

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with commercial route driving (Class C or non-CDL).
