Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering materials to customer sites.
2. Drive delivery vehicle and/or trailer combination to transport materials, operating vehicles weighing 26,000 lbs. or greater GVWR; vehicles 26,000 lbs. or greater towing trailers less than 10,000 lbs.
3. Assist customers with unloading materials safely and accurately, protecting products and property.
4. Use a hand-held device (except while driving) to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS regulations.
5. Verify order details, maintain logs of deliveries including amounts, weights, mileage, and locations, and check items against invoices for accuracy.
6. Act as a customer service liaison, handle customer concerns, and help resolve issues.
7. Maintain service logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 21+ years of age.
• Valid Class B CDL license.
• Minimum of one year of driving experience; CDL driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Forklift certification.
