Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for driving delivery vehicles and operating truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. Adheres to safety and compliance regulations, delivers undamaged goods on schedule, and provides professional service to customers. Drives vehicles weighing over 26,000 pounds and may tow trailers less than 10,000 pounds.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with loading and securing products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver customer orders, maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions, and ensure proper handling and safety.
• Verify order details, maintain delivery logs, and check items against invoices for accuracy.
• Serve as a customer service liaison, handle concerns, and resolve issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices for compliance with DVIR and HOS, and maintain logs and inspection procedures.
• May perform credit or product return pickups and operate material handling equipment.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries and attend safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license, Class B CDL.
• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, pass MVR, obtain DOT medical card.
• Basic math and measurement skills, ability to read and speak English.
