Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites; some vehicles include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs, handling driving and non-driving tasks for hazardous waste cleanup.

Note this position requires new hires to attend a two-week Academy training out of state, paid by the company. Expect a typical Mon-Fri schedule, 6 am start, 8–10 hour days, with Overtime after 40 hours; travel for

• Valid Class A CDL; ability to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Able to pass background check, drug test, and physical per job requirements.
• Willing to use mobile devices and comply with safety protocols.
• Physically capable of performing required tasks on site and on road.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as a team.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks and load/unload cargo.
• Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs.
• Placard vehicles per DOT requirements and maintain logs/reports.
• Adhere to local/state/federal regulations and safety practices.

Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class B CDL / Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehicles operated include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred, no automatic restriction

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps)
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs
• Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulati

• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
