Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Georgetown, TX is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, PTO from day one, and a path for career growth in a supportive logistics team.

You will operate well-maintained trucks, adhere to safety standards, and participate in paid training. Schedule is Monday–Friday with early start times, and there are generous leave and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass Ryder drug test.
• Background check and motor vehicle record review.
• DOT physical and road test required.
• Provide proper CDL and endorsements.
• 9 months–5 years tractor-trailer experience within time windows.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of trips and driving activities.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.54 per Mile with 1800 - 2000 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$24.00 per Stop with approx.15 Stops per Week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Start Time: 6:00 AM - 6:30 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physicalmake sure there's closing properly\
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
