Job summary

Palmer-Donavin is seeking a professional Driver Class A for day shift in North Jackson, OH, to safely and efficiently deliver materials to customers while maintaining compliance with DOT and company safety standards.

You will inspect equipment, secure cargo, complete accurate delivery documentation, obtain customer receipts, and provide professional customer service throughout the delivery process.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recent CMV driving experience is required.
• Current and valid Class A CDL.
• Satisfactory criminal history, MVR, PSP and pre-employment drug screen.
• DOT/compliance knowledge and safe driving record are essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain vehicle and safety equipment for operational readiness.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and secure cargo for transport.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures during transit.
• Operate tractor trailers to deliver materials to customer locations.
• Load/unload using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks and ensure proper staging.
