Job summary

Palmer-Donavin is seeking a CDL-A driver in Ohio to safely deliver materials to customer locations and ensure DOT compliance. You will inspect and secure cargo, operate tractor trailers, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while providing professional customer service.

The role requires 1–3 years of CMV driving experience, a valid Class A CDL, and a clean MVR and background check. Company offers benefits, overtime, ESOP, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recent commercial motor vehicle driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Satisfactory criminal history, MVR, drug screening, PSP, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks.
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to renew before hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and secure cargo for safe transport.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures during transit and delivery activities.
• Operate tractor trailers to safely deliver materials to customer locations.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT and company requirements.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain positive customer interactions during deliveries.

The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering materials to customers while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
