Job summary

Norfolk Iron & Metal seeks a Class A CDL driver to operate the tractor/trailer fleet safely and distribute product across NJ/NY/CT/PA/DE and MD. You will perform DOT pre/post trip inspections and complete DVIR, while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with medical card and DOT qualifications.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Commitment to safety and physical readiness.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of the tractor/trailer fleet.
• Distribute product as dispatched in most efficient manner.
• Perform DOT pre- and post-trip inspections; complete DVIR.
• Assist in loading and unloading steel and supplies.
• Provide professional customer service to clients.
• Servicing customers in NJ/NY/CT/PA/DE and MD.
