Job description

Job Title: CDL Delivery Driver

1. Drive delivery vehicle and/or truck-trailer combination to transport materials to customer sites.
2. Operate vehicles weighing 26,000 lbs. or greater GVWR, including towing trailers over 10,000 lbs.*
3. Assist customers with unloading materials safely and accurately, ensuring product and property protection.*
4. Use a hand-held device (except while driving) to comply with DVIR and HOS regulations.*
5. Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries, including amounts, weights, mileage, and locations. Check items against invoices for accuracy.*
6. Serve as a customer service liaison, handling concerns and resolving issues as they arise.*
7. Maintain service logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 21+ years of age
• Valid Class A CDL license
• Minimum of one (1) year of driving experience; two (2) years preferred
• Ability to pass MVR report and obtain DOT medical card
• Forklift certification*
• Knowledge of safety procedures, good communication skills, map reading, and basic math
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to understand routes and road signs
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds with assistance; operate crane equipment

Work Environment / Physical Activity:

• Work within a production environment with temperature variations, chemicals, noise, and dust.
• Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and operating equipment as described.
