CDL Class A Overnight Delivery Driver - $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Come join our team! We are looking for experienced CDL A Delivery Drivers.

Shift: Daily dispatch typically between 8pm-9pm, home every day.

Location: Jessup, MD

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 3 years.
• No more than 12 months unemployed in the last 5 years.
• Current driver’s license and DOT medical card.
• No CDL accidents or major violations in the last 36 months.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Limited job changes in the last 5 years.
• Experience with regular lifting, overnight work, and ability to work Friday and Sunday nights.

Preferred Driver Requirements:

• Experience delivering from a liftgate.
• Minimum 1 year of material handling equipment experience.
• Prior experience working overnight shifts.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper shipment and undamaged delivery of temperature-controlled products.
• Manage inventory levels FIFO.
• Drive vehicles to designated destinations safely and on time.
• Load and unload products, follow customer specifications.
• Maintain logs, perform vehicle inspections, and follow DOT safety standards.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and organize delivery paperwork.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly.
• Respond quickly to sounds and move safely over terrain.
• See well at night and respond to dangerous situations.

All applicants will undergo a road test in a Food Authority truck prior to employment.
